The rain in preceding days affected three of the four special stages set up by the organisers, who were forced to make several changes to ensure the correct progress of the event which saw Saturday's day structured over four laps and Sunday's over three.
 
The four special tests - an extreme, an enduro and the two cross tests – were demanding yet Davide Soreca registered several Top 5s and Top 10s throughout the day. In the 250 4T class, the Italian rider proved his worth, winning two bronze medals in his c thanks to his speed in the Extreme Test and Cross Test 2. In the special test on the beach, Davide was able to manage the race well, taking the podium on both days. 
 
Davide Soreca: ‘I am happy with my weekend, we worked hard on the bike and improved a lot. The second overall time in the extreme test shows that we have a very good pace and can be competitive. We just have to keep working to be more and more competitive.’
