Istuvuus on ratkaisevan tärkeää ajomukavuuden ja hallinnan kannalta. Täydellinen istuvuus kuitenkin vaihtelee kuljettajan kehon mittojen ja ajotyylin mukaan. ERGO-FIT on järjestelmä, jonka avulla kuljettaja voi löytää itselleen ihanteellisen ajoasennon. Rungon kontaktipisteet (kuten ohjaustanko, jalkatapit ja istuin) ovat säädettävissä vaihdettavien ja säädettäväasentoisten osien avulla. Tämä mahdollistaa sen, että monen kokoiset ja tyyliset kuljettajat löytävät sekä mukavan että hallittavan ajoasennon. Kun ajoasento tuntuu luonnolliselta, ajokokemus on hauskempi ja palkitsevampi. *Säädettävien osien määrä ja säätöalueet vaihtelevat mallikohtaisesti.
Economical Riding Indicator -merkki kojetaulussa kertoo taloudellisesta polttoaineenkulutuksesta ja kannustaa säästävään ajotapaan.
Tarkkaan sähköiseen moottorinohjaukseen perustuvan hallinnan ansiosta Kawasaki-mallit voivat saavuttaa korkean polttoainetehokkuuden. Polttoaineenkulutukseen vaikuttavat kuitenkin voimakkaasti kuljettajan omat valinnat, kuten kaasun käyttö, vaihteiden valinta ja ajotyyli. Economical Riding Indicator on toiminto, joka kertoo, milloin ajaminen kuluttaa vain vähän polttoainetta. Järjestelmä seuraa jatkuvasti polttoaineenkulutusta ajonopeudesta, moottorin kierrosluvusta, kaasuasennosta ja muista olosuhteista riippumatta. Kun polttoaineenkulutus on alhainen suhteessa nopeuteen (eli ajaminen on taloudellista), LCD-näytölle syttyy "ECO"-merkki. Pyrkimällä ajamaan niin, että "ECO"-merkki pysyy näkyvissä, voi vähentää kulutusta. Vaikka sopiva ajonopeus ja kierrosluku vaihtelevat mallikohtaisesti, "ECO"-merkkiä seuraamalla kuljettaja voi parantaa polttoainetehokkuuttaan – kätevä tapa pidentää ajomatkaa. Lisäksi pieni kulutus auttaa vähentämään ympäristövaikutuksia.
ABS-jarrujärjestelmä (lukkiutumaton jarrujärjestelmä) varmistaa vakaan jarrutustehon estämällä pyörien lukkiutumisen jarrutuksessa.
Äkillinen jarrun liiallinen käyttö tai jarruttaminen heikolla pidolla (esim. märällä asfaltilla tai kaivonkansien päällä) voi aiheuttaa moottoripyörän pyörien lukkiutumisen ja liukumisen. ABS-järjestelmä on kehitetty ehkäisemään tällaisia tilanteita. Kawasakin ABS-järjestelmiä ohjataan erittäin tarkalla ja luotettavalla ohjelmoinnilla, joka perustuu laajaan testaukseen erilaisissa ajotilanteissa. Vakaalla jarrutusteholla ABS tarjoaa kuljettajalle turvallisuuden tunnetta, mikä lisää ajamisen nautintoa. Tiettyjen kuljettajien tarpeisiin on saatavilla myös erikoistuneita ABS-järjestelmiä. Esimerkiksi KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System) on erittäin tarkka jarrujärjestelmä, joka on suunniteltu erityisesti supersport-malleihin ja mahdollistaa urheilullisen ajon laajemmalle käyttäjäjoukolle. Etu- ja takajarrujen yhteiskäyttöön perustuva K-ACT (Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking Technology) ABS puolestaan tarjoaa varmuutta ja ajomukavuutta raskaammilla matkamalleilla.
